BEX Advanced Recovery: Open Storage with Fast Recovery and Archiving to Tape
BEX Archive, Syncsort's disk-to-disk-to-tape solution, provides seamless archiving from disk-based BEX Advanced Server storage to tape. Later, if the data hosted on the BEX Advanced Server is unavailable for any reason during recovery operations, the BEX Advanced Recovery restore job automatically proceeds with recovery from tape to the original recovery destination. BEX Archive backup to tape can also be useful for long-term retention or offsite archiving. Backup scheduling, definitions, and retention settings are set specifically for BEX Archive backups.
